Here is the letter I sent to the LA District Attorney’s Office. I saw another poster on here who had sent one, and I used their first line as it seemed appropriate.

Im in the UK and have a very similar story to everyone here. After a year of very bad hosting they conned me into signing up again after holding my web site hostage and offering the cheap rate with rebate carrot. I stupidly gave em my card details and they charged me over $1000! Bit different to the $49.95 they told me. I can’t beleive they are getting away… [ ... ]
