So here’s the story:
I signed up with GISOL on 02-07-03 with Best (Annually + 3 Months Free) ($95.40). This was for a hobby website. I had no issue with GISOL until sometime last year… [ ... ]

* 10:00am Received recommendation for Gisol internet hosting service from my friend, Steven Ryan, an acct holder Gisol for over five years
* 10:30am Signed onto Gisol.com.

Here’s the update from my previous post. Gisol sent my bank 33 pages of “rubbish”, as the guy at my bank put it. Visa International has sided with my bank and refunded them. Luckily, my bank was sympathetic and refunded the money back to me before they won.

The injustice of GISOL has reached down to little ole New Zealand and I can only assume that if it has reached here then it is a global menace.

I was asked to provide some more details from my experience, so here is an extract from correspondence with ic3.gov:

From posts on here and other sites it looks like American Express (AMEX) has refused to deal with Gisol any more. This must be to do with the amount of chargebacks they are getting. It can only be a matter of time before Visa International and Mastercard do the same. If they take away their rights to take credit card payments, it will effectively shut them down as they will… [ ... ]

I too have recently been ripped off by gisol.com with the same scan Y’all got rolled with… my existing sites all down for ten days no explanation and no response from sale@gisol.com, eventually speaking to ‘Brian’ who offered 12 months of hosting at $49.95 Next day my credit card company [ ... ]
