I saw Gisol’s new customer relations department address and attempted to contact them. I had been trying to get resolution for nine months, with no response from them. They basically called me a liar and offered to give me a credit on my account of nearly $500. I want my $1798 back! They did finally give me a password, which they hadn’t bothered to send before. I cancelled my account but did not waive my right to a refund. Their site states that cancelling means you won’t get a refund….
I am so glad there is a concerted effort to get these guys! It is time.

It seems that the video does not highlight GISOL committing fraud but just on tricky internet contract wording. However, in any case it is bad publicity for GISOL. Thanks for all the people who made the video possible. We are closer then we think. Yes We Can.

One thing that suprises me is that in both the videos, report-gisol.com was never mentioned.

I mean, putting all the complaints on this website alone adds upto 300+ I’m sure off. But, in there reports, they only mention the reports the’ve recived was around 300+ I’m guesing. Not the total ammount around the Net.

They should consider this site in there next report. (Will there be one? Let’s hope so.)

The first ever updated thing that looks like the 21st centery. I’m suprised they STILL havn’t changed there site theme around. It looks so… 1991.

Story ran on Fox 5 in Atlanta last night too! Glad these guys are getting exposed for the crooks they are!

DO they think we’re so stupid we can’t see through their feeble attempts to placate their victims…That’s all it is. They want to be able to show the BBB they attempted to resolve the issue, when all they are doing is posting a few emails, sending some letters, making a few phone calls, no refunds, no returned domain names, nothing of any significance, just more rhetoric from a company we all wish we’d never heard of much less done business with!

Check your complaint regularly and make sure you keep it up-to-date with the actual facts not the GISOL spin.

They have no more intention of doing the right thing than they ever have. A new customer service department. It’s the same two guys we saw running down the street…LMAO!!

Although I obtained my money back it was not GISOL’s doing rather my quick action on the fraudulent charges to my debit card..this obtained through my bank. I feel that I was not fully compensated for the time involved and loss of use of one of my checking accounts and the debit card associated with it. No amount of appologies from them will ever restore my business with them I do not or will not trust them to do whats right. So I will never do business with them ever. And will research thoroughly to determine if any webhosting service is affiliated with them in any way before doing business with them. As far As I’m concered GISOL you don’t exsist as a webhosting service and hope this economic downturn puts you out of business.

Just doing a quick calculation and basing it on a wage of say $30 per hour and the amount of hours I have spent on this “issue”, I think I am owed about $100,000! I’m not joking. I probably spend 80 hours per week on this, but I don’t mind because it will be worth it in the end.

I think with donations of $60, revenues from Google AdSense (Not “Ad Works” you Gisol idiots) of $40, and with domain registration and webhosting costs of around $100, I am hardly in profit.

How much does Gisol think I am making out of this?

Is it purely a foolishly stupid way of discrediting my site, because as we all know Gisol say they have done nothing wrong?

I think so.

I really do apologise to Gisol. As soon as I get a minute after explaining the situation to Gisol ~~victims~~ customers (who have lost their domain names and have been charged thousands of dollars too much, due to a set of amazingly unpredictable exceptional circumstances (by it seems every business Gisol does business with) making mistakes or conspiring against them to make huge profits), I must remember to rename this website to http://www.report-gisols-merchant-service-provider-and-every-bank-in-the-world-for-accidently-overcharging-their-customers-and-alldomains-and-dotster-and-snapnames-for-deliberately-letting-domains-expire-to-make-a-huge-profit-and-Gisols-customers-for-thinking-they-have-been-ripped-off-by-the-most-honest-leader-in-the-web-hosting-industry.com.

Or, maybe I won’t because it is all the biggest pack of desperate, quickly-thought-of pack of lies that I have come to expect from Gisol.

I ask Gisol:

Why a REGISTRAR of domain names (Alldomains/Dotster) would need to use a backorder service to re-REGISTER a domain name already in their control?

Why did you not tell ALL your customers of the situation?

Please can you provide evidence of your requests to Dotster to provide solutions to this critical part of your web hosting business (and their replies to you)?

Please can you provide evidence that you have investigated the repeat charges of differing amounts to your customers’ credit cards with your merchant service provider (and their replies to you)?

Can I also ask why the same situation is still occurring with your new registrar Tucows? Are you accusing them of deliberately allowing domains to expire to make a huge profit as well? How would that be possible as you are a Tucows reseller, and you control the domains?

Can you provide evidence of your statement that Allindomains/Dotster/Snapnames are attempting to re-sell your customers’ domains back to them for a significant profit?

Gisol really are ridiculous. They come across a situation, then lie to suit. They don’t realise you are all comparing notes, highlighting their contradictions, and will dare to expose them on this site, others, and on TV. When this goes to court, they will be laughed out of it into jail. They find a problem, then find a lie to cover it. It turns out that everything going wrong is everyone else’s fault!

Give up Gisol, and hand yourselves in. You are digging a bigger and bigger hole for yourselves.

On second thoughts, keep trying to cover your tracks. It will make the authorities jobs much more easy.

That was pretty disappointing. They only found “dozens” of complaints online? They should have at least pushed the investigation to the various law authorities, and looked into their false advertising. At least future victims can now refer their legal or credit card fraudulent charges to the Fox clip. They also only covered big charges and losing domains, but by far the biggest complaint against these crooks has been their fraudulent refund advertising (now removed from their homepage).
