01 Nov 08 New Pro-GISOL comments appearing on the web - Gisol good?

Filed by Mike in Information and Posts. See all 51 posts by Mike

New Pro-GISOL comments have been appearing on the web over the last couple of weeks, obviously in the hope that it will drive more poor unsuspecting victims to gisol.com.

We strongly suspect that they are either being paid for by Gisol, or someone who works for Gisol is leaving them. I suspect the former, as I don’t think anyone who works for Gisol themselves has the ability to string 2 words together.

The individual who is leaving these comments on some websites, “John”, can’t even spell his own name correctly. He spells it “Jhon” on half of the websites! They are not always being left by this name. Other include “John78 Kevin78″, “jaggi”, “imonitor02″, amongst others. They are quite often entitled “Gisol’s Truth” or “No Fraud Gisol”!!!

They are in various formats: Some are just short comments saying that Gisol are great, then linking to gisol.com; others (mainly by John) are longer. John seems to be the owner of a different type of business on every website, and describes in detail how the superior services of our friends at Gisol are essential if you want to have any kind of presence on the web.

I don’t want to link directly to any of these comments, as I don’t want to add any kind of credibility to them with search engines. You can find some of them if you search on Google, or Google Blogs for “Gisol“, or “Global Internet Solutions”. Please remember to include the quotes if searching for the latter.

One of the most prolific writers seems to be on a website called “l-m-y Review Blog” (again - no link), obviously set up purely for advertising.

I recently recieved this email from Nora, where she describes the writers’ abilities:

Dear Mike,

Thanks for forwarding the advertising blogs. I’ve copied just the first paragraph of one of the “reviews” you sent me. It is obvious that 1) it was created in some kind of foreign verbal chop shop and 2) they are paying practically nothing for such abuse of the English language. This is exactly the type of ignorant verbiage that sends people running as fast as they can to sites which practically exude professionalism. Just for fun, I’ve marked some of the erroneous grammar and usage in red. On a very few occasions I’ve added what’s needed to make this paragraph read fluently in blue. Below that, I’ve typed the paragraph the way it would, and should, read if written in good English. That’s a little difficult because there’s no variation to the sentence structure, but at least it’s an improvement. I’m amazed that these writers still exist given the poor quality of their work. Anyone who paid for this work got royally ripped off. They really ought to try to get good American writers. You should relax and find comfort in the fact that they don’t.

Yours,

Nora.
