Looking at GISOL.com it states that they are award winners, and gives the link. They have purchased space so it looks like they are award winners, but they are also listed as a “Featured” Host under $5.95/mo-6 months free, and the listed features suggest they were recommended by WebHostDir.com. Deceptive, which is GISOL.
I have sent an e-mail to WebHost and included the BBB site, giving an F rating to GISOL. May not do any good, but any little amount of grief to them is worth the time it takes.

I looked a while ago for Gisol’s so called awards.
Webhostdir.com was the only website I could find. Gisol’s award itself I couldn’t find. Webhostdir.com, seems to be entirely driven by advertising/affiliate programs, and Gisol are BIG advertisers on there. The time I looked, Gisol were site sponsors, so I’ve no doubt that they “won” an award at some point.
The other awards I think are made up:
Been doing some more digging, and this award did exist from 1999 until 2001, but I have found no evidence of it being linked to Gisol.
Typical Gisol tactics. If anyone can find Gisol’s Awards, please let us know. I may be waiting a while, I guess.
