Fake Russian accent!
Posts March 7th. 2008, 7:03pmHi, me and my Girly are cracking up - I just called gisol, a woman answered ‘hello’, I soon spoke to ‘Brian’ asking to clarify my return-post-with-signature-requested form and the rebate for $1755 he offered, but he got flumoxed and said ‘please hold’ before disconnecting my call.
I called right back and ‘Brian’ answered in a fake Russian accent. I told him not to be so ridiculous and called him by his name, he said please hold and put that stupid California radio back on.
What shysters - absolutely blatant! ‘Don’t know how you sleep at night comrade?

Not sure whether Gisol is actually run by a Russian family (Spivak). One time I rang and a Russian guy answered the phone. When I started asking questions about money, he put me through to an American guy, who said he was just a telephone answering service and couldn’t help. He told me to email them, like that would do any good!
He also sounded remarkably like “Brian” AND “Aaron”!!! There aren’t many people who work there. It’s well documented on comments on other websites.

Oh it was ‘Brian’ for sure - I’m a piano tuner and audio engineer and I know the sound of a two-faced liar!
My guess is that there’s just two people hustling and all the nonsense about being on hold for 20 minutes to get you want to hang up is just smoke and mirrors!
What gisol do is a crime and I can’t see why they won’t be caught and jailed ’cause to be defrauding at the rate they are, they must be tuning over at least a coupla’ brazillion dollars annually!
‘Spivak’ ain’t Russian sounding to me - ’sounds Polish! Actually ‘Brian’s’ put-on accent sounded more like ‘Borat’ than ‘Chekov’!
